If you selected all of the text, deleted it, and then saved (overwrote the file basically), there's no getting it back :( Assuming that's not the case, I'm not really sure what else could have happened without more information. Is the file still there and just empty, or can you not even find it? |

sounds stupid, but did you check your recycelbin? Do you have a computerprotecting-program (I don't know how to call those programs in English. example: like Norton) some versions are capable of making back-ups. But you probably did those things already...

depends, have you shut your computer off since then? if you have then it's gone forever because unsaved information is stored in ram which only keeps it as long as electricity is running through it. if you haven't switched off check your temporary files. It MIGHT have made one. c:\documents and settings\"username" (whatever your name is\microsoft more than likely, though, you're out of luck. Oh btw, did you do any cut and pasting in the notepad file? Maybe it's still in your clipboard if you did. |

Halp!
I (today) made a very extensive tab as a request on notepad-
Some thing happened while I was saving- I dunno, and it all got deleted!
Is there anyway I can get it back?
