I am but I stopped at the very beginning because I can't play x68886. My friends told me the way they play it but I haven't quite got the hang of it yet. (My friend Josh said he bars his ring finger across the 8s, but I can't seem to do that without touching the E string.) I love the song though so I will try more later :-) I'll try to help a little more with uploading since I was too brief to be helpful earlier. Uploading a file and linking to it in the message board are two different steps. (You can do it inside a message, too, but it's still two different things.) Uploading a file doesn't put it on the message board. After you upload, there's a link in the lower right to the file on the server. Then you can put it in a link. (I found out with Firefox you can actually upload it, then click 'send to browser' or whatever it is, but that doesn't work in Opera, which is what I use . . .) It used to be a little easier. Hopefully Archard will make it easy again, because he's been making everything else on the site pretty awesome lately, but this is the main usability problem left I think. Archard, do I have permission to upload tabs from submissions for other people? I'm assuming I don't unless you say so.

right on, yeah i figured out that after you upload you have to put an link title and link name as well, like you need to fill in all 3 blanks, the URL was filled in after clicking on the file name after uploading, but i left the other two spaces blank, after filling those in the file showed up...magic i tell you, thank you for your help though, it's really appreciated yeah that Eb barre plus the Ab are the same formation so it's gonna be tricky until you master using your ring finger to depress the D G and B strings...but if you have the other formation down then you're well on your way...those two barre's take a lot of practice to make them ring out clearly, of course after you learn that formation you can play any major chord all over the fret board which is way cool, and making minors out of those barre's is super easy after that these are the two major barre's i'm talking about by the way: F Major and A# Major respectively e--1--1 and the minors: F minor and A# minor respectively e--1--1 |

Thanks! I am missing a lot of the basics when it comes to chord forms. I am learning guitar now but I am really more of a bassist (though learning this stuff for guitar is helping my bass playing too)! I appreciate the lesson. I can play the minor form fine already.

well, sometimes when i'm lazy, i just play the D G and B strings with my ring finger, muting the high e and strumming only the highest 4 strings, you can make the chord that way and play the piece, also i think that would strengthen your ring finger...hmmm give it a shot, maybe you can work this piece out tonight! |

I hope this gets accepted, I noticed that the current tabs don't have the chords, and mine does...
They are as correct as I can make it, my ear is not perfect though, however i recorded this tonight,
trying to make a rocked out version of it and it came out very nicely! Enjoy!
