Whoa! Why did you mess about with the tuning THAT much? That doesn't really make it any easier, the official Chrono Cross Guitar Arrangement book offers this song in standard tuning and I can't really say that I like the sound of your version better. May the flamefest start. *hides* |

No offense taken! I made it for myself as I mess around in DADGAD—I understand it may not be worth changing your tuning just for this arrange. As mentioned, I really like this tuning for the ease I can emphasize/improvise over a known tune. I also really like the sound/feel of the loosened strings, though the capo does lose some of that. I'm trying to find a song that I could arrange a bit more idiomatically, hopefully will have one worth de-tuning for at some point. |

I also love to play with loosened strings. It makes one's guitar sound way more atmospheric and mysterious so I think I understand your point there. |

I also like the way a loosened guitar sounds, but I hate changing my tuning. I don't mind drop D but anything other than that I'm just too lazy for. Good job on the tab nonetheless. http://www.gametabs.net/playstation/chr ... g-the-body

Hello all,
I've recently started to use DADGAD tuning, and I personally find it easier to embellish/improvise than the standard EADGBE, so I've been working on arranging some pieces for it.
My first is from Chrono Cross—"Quitting the Body"
In the OST version there's a bass line running through 'Section C' that I don't have on this tab- maybe it's possible? I haven't tried to figure it out yet.
The ZIP includes two versions - one with the relative tab from a capo at the 5th fret and another that shows the 'actual' position on the neck for the tune in DADGAD.
TXT, GP4 and GP5 with a MIDI of this arrange in ZIP. MP3 of the original track can be downloaded here.
Hope everyone enjoys, and if you have any suggestions please let me know!
edit: Updated tab in a few spots for fingering.
