I know lots of rumors are going around the interweb about when PSHOME is coming out, how it looks, how it plays, etc etc. Well, I'm on the beta right now as I right this. And I can say this. It looks awesome. It has some minor bugs, which are nothing more than a "that was weird" moment and then you move on. And as far as coming out...well, I don't think even Sony knows that, but the general consensus is end of November 08. I hope that holds true.

At E3 during the sony press conference I believe I heard it confirmed that HOME will release before the end of 08. I was excited to hear about the service at first as it would be neat to personalize stuff and interact with people... But then i started to realize "dude this is the same concept as myspace" I will join when it starts just to not limit myself, but if my broad stroked analyzation is true, I will pass. High hopes for sony, as this is likely a fruitful venture for them in [sorta] unprecedented territory.
