Super Mario Galaxy, Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine. They have all affected my life so much. And Guild Wars the most, but I don't think that everyone should play Guild Wars...

Shenmue, Bioshock, Super Mario Galaxy, Doom. They may not all be that new, but if you haven't played them (who hasn't played Doom?), damn it, try them. Bioshock is magical. At least get the demo. |

Final Fantasy 7 and 8 are both incredible in my book and it is worth trying atleast one of them even if you hate "poor" graphics with random battles. If you mean newer games then I'd say Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion are worth trying. Sadly, I've had the ring of death since summer and haven't played anything more new than that. |

Ogre Battle 64 it's an AMAZING game but i don't think it got the attention it deserved if you can find the game of get an emulator plz check it out, pretty much changed my life. |

Xenogears, guys! Tyr it. But beware - it took me 60h+ to beat it. Any of the Tom Clancy GTA games are also a must, IMO.

Metal gear solid. Any/all of them. So far i've only played 1 (gc version) and 4. The bosses are a bit annoying, especially MGS4. (Looks at vamp and screaming mantis)

This is a place to post games that everyone should at least try.
This week I bought 2 games Castle Crashers and Spore.
I bought castle crashers maily because i wanted to play with my Sister-in0law on xbox live and what i saw i was very impressed by. Even tho this game is 2D it kicks ass.... big time. Its a side scrolling beat em up and its probably the best one I've played. It is a download on the Xbox marketplace and it is defiantly worth the buy. I have clocked about 13 hours on it already lol.
Today I bought Spore. Being hyped up for this game for 2 years the second I got my hands on it I almost wet myself. This is one of the greatest games I've seen because its all based off your creativity. It has billions of options to make your experience unique. From Creatures, buildings, weapons, and vehicles you design it all. It is very worth the $50 and it has amazing environments and graphics. Within the demo i was amazed but when i got the full thing I was blown away. I see tons of potential in both these games.
