This tab and song is thoroughly badass but I just have one question before I put it up. What's with this part?

I don't know advanced electric guitar techniques all that well, so excuse my ignorance, but why does the tab in this part jump so much like from fret 2 to fret 10 or 11 all on the same string? I just wanna make sure this isn't some mistake or laziness you left in the tab.

I think that's the finger tapping part. It would be played like this:

G||-h9p5p2--h10p5p2--h11p5p2--h10p5p2--h9p5p4h8-|

Of course, I didn't make the tab, but I'm pretty sure that part's supposed to be finger tapped.
