It was hard for me to find good recordings of Final Fantasy tunes on the classical guitar, so... I'm making a series of them right now.

Excellent work, and way to fill the gap!

1. Good lord, that ending theme reminds me of Andrew York. Listen through about 30 seconds of each of these:

...Can you guys hear it? The songs have different moods, but progressively I feel like they totally fit together.

Also, the Shop Theme sounds a lot like Sor.

2. Any favorite classical guitar composers? I just went through the complete Sor studies book which is a beast (I can't claim to be able to play all of the pieces, but I'm at least familiarizing myself with them).

And then I realized that the chord progression from Chrono Cross's Another World is the same progression as the chorus from Peace of Mind by Boston, and life was never quite the same.

That shop song actually reminds me of a Sor piece in D major that I can't remember and a Regondi piece in A major. If you like Sor you should check out Regondi...

To Zanarkand

Since you asked for criticism: The other songs are pretty much perfect, but in To Zanarkand the pacing bugs me a bit.
Your accelleration of the main section feels
a) too fast and
b) has no buildup.
You finished the intro playing slow and delicately, the instant speedup sounds contradicting to me so I would either recommend playing the intro-end with increasing tempo/volume or reduce the main sections tempo and play it delicately as well. At least for my taste, maybe it's just your playstyle :)

The rest is pretty much great especially the harmonics at the end.

Sick Zanarkand bro. Was the arrangement at all inspired by Stamen47's arrangement here?

I just played through the whole Sor Studies book recently (though it took me a really long time)...there were a *few* in D. ;-)

Some of those studies, I will literally never be able to play. The stretches are just too insane...and they were written on a much smaller fretboard.

This Zanarkand is sending me to my guitaaaar.
