There's been a lot of Aggression in comments lately

Since the site is growing, the Assholes are just pouring in, and its really annoying to read a tabs comments and all you see is a bunch of crap being spewed back and forth

I really don't know where this thread belongs, but something needs to be done

Yeah I know what you mean. I'll do something about it. I think I'll make it so that comments made by people who aren't logged in have to be approved before they go up.

Sounds good, I'd help you with that.
But you're the only one you is able to delete comments, right? So we have to wait for you to look through the comments every time. If you manage to make a queue for comments that moderators can access, I think a report-function and a report-queue would be a good idea, too.

Well there is a comment queue and I can give you access to it if you want to help me. You'll get an email every time a comment is added to the queue. It should give you access to delete and edit comments as well.

I don't think a report function is unnecessary since all unregistered users' comments will be added to the queue and have to be approved before they go up.

Hmmm....that would to a lot of extra admin time. But the situation is getting out of hand. I know you want to grow the community but I still say that if someone wants to leave a comment they can register. They're more likely to actually contribute. What we have is just a bunch of pricks that don't do or contribute anything just being, well, pricks. I'm willing to take criticism from someone who contributes.

Yeah, I think if people have to register to comment, it would save a lot of Hassle, but then again, look at Youtube

Ok, I thought about it today and I am going to make it so you have to register to post comments. I think the site is popular enough now that I don't have to beg people to come and comment on our tabs. In fact, it's quite the opposite. From now on, only registered users can post comments.
