I've already suggested an IRC channel several times. I suppose irc.drshnaps.com/gametabs could work. I'm yet to set it up, but I've suggested it before. PJIRC is compatible with phpBB3, and there's always CGIIRC or whatever, but ChatZilla is still the best for Firefox users, IMO.

Like I said before, if anyone wants to set up an IRC channel I would gladly support it. But other than joining a chat room I haven't the slightest clue how to use IRC. If someone else wants to do it it would be greatly appreciated.

Pfft, mIRC is lame. For actual IRC clients, irssi for Mac/Lunix and HydraIRC are where it's at.

mIRC is pretty good though, I mean a proper Introduction board, where you post your own introduction topic so you know who's welcoming you.

I'll reg one on irc://irc.drshnaps.com/gametabs (irc.drshnaps.com, #gametabs, port 6667.) For simplicity's sake, I'd advise you set up http://www.pjirc.com/main.php PJIRC on the forums for those that don't want to download. It should be easy enough to set up; making it go the the room by default would just be directing it to irc.drshnaps.com, #gametabs, port 6667. You'll have to register a nick on irc.drshnaps.com before I can set you up with auto +ao, though.

I was under the impression that's what PJIRC was. On the phpBB2/3 forums I've seen with it, it's always located at http://forums.domainname.com/chat.php

Still can't go wrong with Chatzilla for Firefox users though. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/16
