Sometimes being nosey really does pays off. A Peeping Tom was snooping around the Smash Bros. Brawl disc when they came upon 25 tracks that, for some unknown reason, went unused in the game. The list is rather impressive, featuring sound effects from Melee, original titles, and full length remixes of classic tracks. The tunes are available for download over at the link below and await your music player of choice.

yes it may be cool, but if you take a second look...

These are not the actual songs on the disc, I repeat, these are not the actual songs on the disc. Me and various hackers have been inside the SSBB ISO and these are not in the file he mentions. What this really is, is a compilation of songs he found around the internet based on a list of songs found inside said file. It was found on another forum that a few of the songs he posted have in fact been available on the internet for years, this guy even says on the page “based off of the song listing found in “smashbros_sound.brsar” on the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Game Disc.”.

sorry to burst peoples bubbles :(

I think it would awesome to have a massive tab collection of all the SSBB tracks. Future project perhaps?

I'd be up for it. I've already gotten the Gourmet Race remix almost finished.

Yeah, why not. I think it'd be awesome to have an epic collection of ELECTRIC style tabs from this game. With a few classical tabs sprinkled in of course. The great thing about it is that the soundtrack is basically a collection of remixes of the greatest nintendo songs over the years. Truly some classics.

I'm thinking we should start this once I get the new layout and whatnot up and running, and also when this semester is over because there's only a few weeks left for me and I'm super busy until the end.

I think we should make a separate thread for this project. It could be a great sitewide endeavor. Also

viewtopic.php?f=10&t=343

A link to the entire OST with song titles to correspond to the serial codes

Oh yeah, I've been seeding the Brawl OST for weeks. I personally torrented it. I have an upload to download ratio of 5.7:1. @_@
