This song is addicting. I'd like to second the request. Unfortunately, I can't transcribe by ear to save my life. Like Darkkar said, the song is based off of Stratovarius' song Hunting High and Low. I'm not sure if it'll help or not, but here is a link to a Guitar Pro file for Hunting High and Low. The lead guitar in Challengers plays a modified version of the vocals in Hunting High and Low, so maybe the tab will help. Guitar Pro - Hunting High and Low Thanks! PS: I wasn't sure if "No referral links" was referring to outside tablature links or not. If these links are violating that rule, please let me know and I will remove them ASAP. |

I second the request as well! Challengers is probably my favorite Budokai song, the guitar play is just friggin sweet! But I can't transcribe by ear either, is there someone who got some time over for this request? It would be kickass to have this song transcribed. |

Yeah, so I'm kinda bumping this thread because of this sweet video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bk8G0TLV7P0 Not sure if it helps anyone tabbing this song but atleast it's a darn good attempt at Challengers. |

Sweet that someone is trying! You could always post your progress in the "Work In Progress" section aswell, maybe you'll get help and feedback to ease up on the work a little. |

Dragonball Z! The First Budokai! Come on you guys remember! Oh what? You never played that game--its teh oldz? Oh you played it but it's crap compared to the others? Yea, I agree. HOWEVER, the music is dope!!
How could the music be so dope in such a crappy game? The answer is simple. And this is the result of a long ongoing battle of violated copyright laws the game has been at war with. A band called Stratovarius is the responsible owner of the game's heavily influenced soundtrack, mimicking their songs chord progression, riffs, 'n hooks. Regardless, the game is almost of age to ride in automobile passenger seats so we owe it some respect.
I was HIGHLY pleased with the last Dragonball Z tab from this site. And now, to get into the gametab roots, and present a little tougher challenge to my slightly heightened guitar experience, I am requesting a rock arrangement, lead guitar, for this stage music.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Yc9f008m-k&feature=related This is where I would like the tab birthed from. As it contains the clarity of the guitar I fell in love with. But to be that extra bit informative, I am linking the original piece composed by the band.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eneaVx1nRqY And as you can tell it's almost a mirror of the first link. And as you might also notice, the first link has a clear performance for solo guitar, so again stress my FIRST link be the primary source of tablature. That about does it! Great work on this ever-expanding site. If I can come up with any music that'll sound good on a grandpa's guitar I'll haed your way Kabuki.
