Not Taking Requests! :

Just for a little bit, I'm sooo friggin backlogged with requests from here, email requests, youtube requests, I don't want people to feel ignored so just for now, I'm not taking any more until I can catch up. Sorry!

Completed
Rouge Message (Kiki's Delivery Service)
Sweet Guitar (Ragnarok Online II)
Youkoso! Hitori Bocchi (Welcome To N.H.K.)

To Be Done
Verdanturf Town (Pokemon Sapphire)

Reviewing
A Small Journey (Breath of Fire V)

Rules :

1. Before you request for the first time please click this link: http://downloads.khinsider.com/?u=16377

I know this seems a little self-serving but just think of it as a way of paying me back for taking on your request. You don't have to do anything, just click it. It just links to khinsider. Once it opens you can close it, that's all there is to it. It allows me to download more game music from that site the more people click the link. Also, the more game music I can expose myself to, the more arrangements I can come up with. If you've enjoyed my tabs in the past please help me out by clicking it. I'm only asking you to do this the first time you request a tab. Any other tabs you request you don't have to bother clicking. Thanks in advance. :)

2. Remember, I only do acoustic music.

Don't ask me to do a rock version of a song or transcribe a crazy metal solo. The electric guitar and acoustic guitar are very different animals and I don't know how to replicate certain things that are done with rock music. I can, however, transcribe for other instruments. For example, if there is a piano solo you want to play on the guitar, request it. Even orchestral stuff is a possibility. As long as it's a "natural," instrument, I can take a crack at arranging it.

3. Decide what kind of arrangement you want.

Do you want me to just tab out the melody? Or do you want me to arrange it for the guitar. Do you want it as a solo? Duet? Do you want it arranged on an instrument OTHER than the guitar? Don't be stingy on the details. The more I know exactly what you want, the more you'll be happy with what I finally come up with.

4. Decide how hard you want it.

If you are a beginner, let me know. That way I can try to arrange it to your playing ability. If it ends up being too easy I can always make it harder.

5. Tell me the details of the song.

What game is it from, what is the song title. If you know what track it is on the official soundtrack or have a link to an mp3 of it, post it. I can take a look at the song faster if you can link me to it and let you know either way if I can do it or not. If I have to go searching for it on the internet it will only take longer to get back to you.

6. Use common sense when requesting something.

If you ask me to do a solo guitar arrangement of One-Winged Angel or something like that I'm just gonna say no.

7. The more invovled your request is, the longer it's gonna take.

Be patient. If I agree to do something I WILL do it. If I ever give up on a song I'll let you know. That usually won't happen if I agree to do it though.

I guess that's about it. Looking forward to your requests guys! :)

That wasn't as much reading as I thought it was going to be. Anyway, I already added my support to this request: http://www.gametabs.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=367
The guy who requested it wasn't too specific, but I love your transcriptions of songs from LoZ: The Wind Waker, and I was wondering if you could make it like The Legendary Hero or something similar. BTW, I love your work, you're my favorite tabber on the site.

FANTASTIC! Since I no longer have time to arrange unstructured pieces by ear anymore (I usually go from sheet it saves me so much time or if it's strictly structured like Sugiyama I can guess) this is a boon as I can trust you to give me good complex pieces.

I've got this piece I've talked to you about before "A Small Journey" from Breath of Fire V by Sakimoto. It's available at this link.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6L4PO08Q

Classical style as always, and performance ready difficulty por favor. There were some pieces from Legend of Legalia Duel Saga I was looking at too. But let's start with this. I clicked your link twice.

not to be a butt head or anything but you can see his fingers and stuff. It'd take time but you'd be able to replicate what he's doing rather easily, especially on the second piece.

If you looking for a song to arrange, how about

Kirby's Dreamland - Green Greens

http://kirby.classicgaming.gamespy.com/ ... meboy.html

The MP3 can be found on that page.

I always loved this song, and I think you could turn that into a wonderful solo classical arrangement of moderate difficulty :)

What a lovey piece! And Ron, don't think I'm ignoring you. It's just the piece you requested would be a bit difficult to turn into a hard guitar piece. You don't have any others you would like me to look at do you? If not I'll keep this on the list, I just don't know when I'll be able to get to it.

Yeah I know I tried and came to the same conclusion as well. Don't worry about it. I'll think up something else. Still it doesn't need to be hard. It could be just a straight transcription. But don't worry too much about it.

oh ok, well in that case I'll look at it. With this sort of stuff I usually have to transcribe it on the original instruments first and then go back and fiddle with it to try and get it to fit. I already noticed the key is C minor. I'm going to have to transpose it up to D minor because all those flats make for some ugly hand positions. It's only a step difference and it makes it a lot easier to play.

About the same difficulty as your eternity memory of lightwaves, or a bit easier. In the general area of that, solo arangement if possible.

I've been waiting for you to open a thread forevar :]

great idea, kabuki. I remember coming across a song that I thought you'd be able to do a particularly good job with...but I can't remember what it was! When (if) I remember, or if I find something else, I'll be back.

Seriously if it's going to be a pain don't worry about it. I've already started work on another Sakimoto that's similar to this.

I'd like it like how this guy plays. I've heard the original, or what I think to be the original, from a Starcraft mod featured over at http://www.campaigncreations.org, but it's not the style that I'm looking for.
It'd be real cool if you tabbed it like the guy playing the piano.

Thanks a lot Kabuki. I really appreciate all of the tab-work you've done here.
Always great to play your songs.

Bloody Tears is an amazing song. I always loved the standard electric versions but I could definitely see this being a great acoustic piece. I hope you consider it Kabuki.

Hello Kakukibear, let me start off by saying that i really enjoy your arrangements, and i appreciate what you're doing for us  .

Anyways, here is a song I've wanted to play for a long time, but I am not skilled enough to make a tab for it myself. I search for tabs of it nearly every month, hoping someone would make an arrangement or something. Anyways, the song i want to learn is from miyazaki's "Lupin 3rd Castle of Cagliostro." and it is called Fire Treasure. Uhmmm, here are 3 variations of it:

http://www.jamesanime.ch/sound/lupin/(lupin3)-%5b02%5d-firetreasure_variation1.mp3
http://www.jamesanime.ch/sound/lupin/(lupin3)-%5b04%5d-firetreasure_variation2.mp3
http://www.jamesanime.ch/sound/lupin/(lupin3)-%5b06%5d-firetreasure_variation3.mp3

You could either tab out the guitar only, or make a simple arrangement of the main melody with some backing. It doesn't matter to me how hard you make it because even if it the hardest song, i will learn it. I wouldn't mind if you only tabbed the first 30 seconds of it. p.s. Variation 2 is slower and easier to hear. Thanks!!

Maybe you could even do this for me:

'Lastman Dancing' from Ragnarök Online
Solo Guitar Arrangement
I've got 10 years practice on guitar, so do what you can to make it sound decent.

Hey Kabuki, I love all your arrangements :)

I'd really like to see Monstro Town from Super Mario RPG:Legend of the Seven Stars done. Here's the mp3:

Difficulty wise, I'd say about moderate, and if you could include both the melody and the bass notes that would be amazing.

Thanks, and keep up the good work. :)

Hey Kabukibear, could you make one of your sweet arrangements for the solo classical guitar of the "Another Guldove" theme from Chrono Chross? Containing (a possible variation if needed of) the original 'arpeggiated' chords together with the flute melody, like you usually do? Difficulty or tuning are not a limitation, but i think we all agree that it'd be a plus if you could keep awkward stretches to a minimum. :D

Hi there.

Well i'd like to make a good pair of requests, so here we go, and yeah i clicked the KHI link :>

First, the songs.

Game: Castlevania Circle of the Moon ( Game boy Advance )
Song name: The Endless Corridor/Chapel Tower "Fate to despair"
Midi: http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/ni ... _Tower.mid

Game: Fire Emblem Genalogy of the Holy War ( Super Nes )
Song Name: Dancing in the sky ( Chapter 4 overworld )
MP3: http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/533/7

Decide what kind of arrangement you want.
For the first piece ( The castlevania one ), id like just the melody, solo please =D

For the second one ( The fire emblem one ) i'd like the melody and the backround melody, for a duet.

Decide how hard you want it.
Medium, not too hard but not easy enough to be crappy (:

Thanks a lot in advance.

Yo, Kabukibear.

Too bad you're not taking requests at the moment. But anyway, I'm here to say your arrangements are truly amazing. Some of your memorable works are Cornelia Castle, Besaid Island, Fisherman's Horizon, and others I haven't had the chance to try yet.

I accidentally found you samples on youtube. I hope to see more from you. Hehe

Well, if you re-opened the requests again, plz don't forget to ring me. I have this one song I'd like to get arranged. It's called Orrizonte from Suikoden II. I had figured the opening tab of this song but the rest was just too difficult for me.

TIA.
