GameTabs Tube Contest # 47 - Sorrow

Due: August 25, 2013 (Extension if needed)

I'm just gonna get straight to it here. This Tune Contest's theme is Sorrow. Put your feelings into your music. Make something that really makes me think and feel like the Sorrowful guy I am ^_^ "Come. Let me feel your Sorrow!"

Requirements

is there still time? i had been working on a new one, but didn't finish before i went to visit family. this was one i was gonna post if i didn't finish the other, buuuut forgot when getting ready to go.
I made this one a couple years ago for blood omnicide, a 3d remake of the first legacy of kain game. the idea was writing more music that fit the game, so tracks didn't get rehashed as much. this was for the game over screen.

Brody - Sorrow: Very nice, Sir Brody! It does indeed make me think of Silent Hill :)

XVWAWA - Noble Death: A very nice piece you've got here! Dark and sorrowful. Foreboding.

And now for the winner of this contest. I know I pretty much said "very nice" on all of the pieces here, but they are all very nice! Maybe I just like all music no matter what? I dunno lol! But you all did a great job, even those that brought their piece from the icy depths of the past ;) My least favorite part about contests is judging but I guess it must be done. There were some nice entries in this contest! :-D

When I saw this I was thinking of entering because I've been working on sort of a somber song.
I wrote it while thinking about those I've lost and it's like a positive energy that I'm sending portraying the optimism I have in seeing them agian somewhere somehow.

It starts kind of sad then works into a more serene mood. So I wasn't sure if it fit the criteria haha

Maybe a suggestion to BigHeadClan for the next Tune Contest theme(if you don't have anything particular in mind already) would be like a climbing out of despair theme. A song that starts dark or sad and morphs into a lighter mood? Idk just a suggestion so I can submit my song :) haha

I feel the same as the rest of you on that. I guess no matter how shitty you think something is there will always be someone who likes it. I think that's a good thing. Makes us less depressed lol. Maybe XD
