I'm at school right now so I can't do anything with this, but would you mind if I converted it to Guitar Pro when I get home? It's pretty easy to do, and makes it look a lot nicer IMO and most of the time power tabs stretch the page.

What's up with the whole rest about half way in? I think that should be a half rest. Otherwise it sounds damn good to me.

Are you talking about measure 76? Are you sure you are listening to the new one? Reason being, because I had one at measure 76, and took it out, and put a half rest. I don't see a whole rest in the one I posted...what measure are you referring to? Perhaps it made one when you imported to guitar pro?? |

gah, sorry. I was looking at the wrong file. Sounds great, I hope Kabuki takes a look at it since he's the man when it comes to evaluating these things. Is it ready to go up on the main site? I wonder where I'm gonna put it...... I guess it'll be ok putting it with the rest of the Final Fantasy 7 tabs, though technically it's not from the game. Apparently it's based off a song called "Judgement Day" which I've never heard of before.

I had Kabuki look at the old one, it is long and he didn't seem up to it since it is a tad hard to make out what the mp3 is doing at times. I am going to go through it carefully a few more times because I think there are some timing issues at a few points. I don't know sheet music as well as I should, so it would be probably easy for someone who does, but I definitely am having fun learning though. Never heard this song?? This song was one of my favorites! One of the reasons I loved it so much. Have a listen! You should recognize it when you hear it. |

Ahhh of course I remember this song. I just didn't recognize it from that arrangement. Well I emailed the guy who actually arranged and recorded this song (Pot Hocket) and here's what he had to say about the tab: "Pot Hocket" posted:
You should feel pretty proud of yourself

wow thanks, archard. Thanks for contacting the one who made the arrangement, guess I never thought of doing that... I corrected the areas he mentioned, along with about 6 other rhythm/timing issues that I knew were not right. It sounds better now than it did. I believe I know where the guitar parts are switched, but I just don't feel like straining my ears trying to figure it out right now...lol. You can go ahead and post it if ya like. I updated the file in the original/first post. Yeah, the arrangement is definitely quite different from the actual song. There are, though, a few parts that I definitely recognized right away from the song. |

It sounds like you've made the MIDI so that the background guitar resonates more. Sounds good. Tell me when you want me to put it on the main site. It sounds great to me.

I just noticed a mistake. In measure 93 you have a 7s10, I think it should be 7s9.

Yup, you're right. The reason the midi sounds different is because I finally found out how to ring out the bass notes in powertab. Makes a world of difference. I updated the link with, hopefully, the final one. You can put it up if ya like. |

Oh. My. God. This is excellent!!! I just listened to the song and I had to play it on guitar and I found this when I searched on Google! This is absolutely brilliant! I have been searching for a song like this to play for ages and I finally found it, along with an awesome tab! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! WOOO! |

I worked on this for about a week at work about 2 weeks ago. I went on vacation for a week. I have done lots of corrections to it, especially after kabuki recommended a transcribing program which makes it a lot easier!
This is my first tab, so take it easy on me please.
This is done in Powertab format. I haven't gotten around to getting guitar pro, which seems to be what everyone uses around here. Powertab is getting on my nerves though, for instance, I have a section with 5 measures, and the rest have 4, and I have no idea how to fix it in powertab.
Anywho, here it is. Enjoy. Comment. Correct.
EDIT: Also, I haven't played this on my guitar yet, so I don't know if the notes are the most comfortable ones to use.
