You could explain your process a bit more... An idea could be to start the song in the original key then transposing to the new one in the same track... just an idea.

To Zanarkand is based on E minor scale, so it's in G key (with just one #). Here i tried to transpose the melody on E major scale, in E key (with four #). So in the new key all the chord changes, Em -> E, G -> G#m, Am -> A, Bm -> B, C -> C#m, etc. so the result it's like a whole new song, with same structure but a "major" feeling :) Jacob31593 said
If you think this is unenjoyable, breezy will be even worse ahahah |

Em to GM would be more of a Mode change within the same key. Tons of songs do it. They start off in a Minor key and continue the melody into the relative major. of course depending on what position your playing it in it could still look like your playing it in a minor scale. But Em to EM is an entire key change. Much more contrast then simply going from a a minor to a relative major. Kinda hard to explain, Your just simply turning Em to Emaj, chords and all. it adds great contrast whenever its done. I did the same thing here: 1:35 went from Major to Minor, Start was in Minor of course. Of course it's always fun to change things:

Yes I understand now, so it's like changing Em(VI) to Emaj(I). So is really going from Gmaj to Emaj (Down a minor 3rd) which is also a common modulation. Hope I got that right.

Sorry for bringing up the old thread but I find it quite a good idea, I don't understand why I'm only now getting to it but thanks for this! |
Major vs Minor

I've been doing this for a long time and I'm always happy with the result. Apart from this modification, I found it better and renewed. Besides I use this source https://essays.studymoose.com/pay-for-essay to make the most original and best pieces, for me it is more cost effective and simple to pay for essay, because then I from it can make a composition for the college I study at and have the highest grade in the class. |

Hi! It’s a long time since last time I wrote here! I was studying a lot of music theory for a university exam and I start thinking how the transposition from Minor to Major mode can change the meaning of a song.
If you want to understand what I’m talking about you can found on youtube “Nothing Else Majeur” (Nothing Else Matters in Major Mode) and “Retrieving My Religion” (Losing My Religion in Major Mode).
This two examples inspired me, so I decide that I can change the mode to some ost music and post here the results! Here you can listen the first try!
To Zanarkand in Major Scale!
This music is originally in Em Key, here you can listen it in E Key. I like the way it sounds, this makes me think about an happy ending^^
If you have suggestions/request you can write here :) And please tell me what you guys think about all this project and this first track :)
(The next will be probably Theme of Love in Major or Breezy in Minor mode)
