i cant be bothered takin pictures right now, but i can say i have a greencrafter something or other, a cherry red fender strat, and im gettin an ebony epiphone sg style g400 fitted neck... long name i was spposed to get it on my birthday, but APPARENTLY they are out of stock and i have to wait a month. never EVER use GAK.
Looks Like I'm the only lefty in the whole bunch This is my first guitar, I've only been playing for about a month now. It's nothin special but I sure do love it.
hi everyone! im new here...there are my guitars: an Ibanez GRG170DX and a brandless acoustic! (its made by hand). I also have an old silvertone but I dont use anymore
I only play my Randy Rhodes, the other one was given to me for free. Actually my Rhodes is all I have right now since I'm letting someone borrow the other.
while i lack a funtional imageshack account right now, i can always pull them off the net, can't i
i think i'm the only Cort player here btw, but correct me if i'm wrong. it's a Cort Z22 Zenox B to be exact.
the guitar was a present from my parents when i passed my final exams and i really love it. together with my VOX DA5 amp it can conjure up a wide range of sounds, from clean to higain distortion and from wah-wah and compression to chorus and reverb. that together with my double humbuckers is responsible for the feeling that i'll have a lot of fun playing this one for a long time
this is my EC with emgs
I also own an esp AX50 with a dimebucker in the bridge, but dont have a camera shot of it. I will try to get another camera and maybe post more pics of my gear, if you want to know what it is, its under the gear in guitar talk.
lol first act isnt bad, i have used one and also used the fender strat standard series they copy, i prefered the first act because it was closer to a fair price. lol im sure there are a couple die hards on this site ready to defend you know who...but fender rips you off. I would definately get one of those first acts used for 50$ myself, I use humbuckers im my guitars but could always use a single coil when i want that old school sounding breakup for blues. Plus because they are cheap... you could mod the hell out of them as an amature and learn a bit about the hardware, make a frankenstein, and... best of all if you break it you dont have to cry because you destroyed an expensive guitar. Im surpised by reading these forums to not see some guitar makes like peaveys and washburns, i think i saw one ML listed i was expecting a few others, but still cool guitars everyone.
I've got a Lyon (by Washburn) acoustic - but it was from my fiance deciding she wanted to learn. She didn't stick with it because the guitar, as it came, was murder on her fingers. Sounds ok if you can deal with the horrible action/neck.
I don't own a single on-brand guitar and frankly, short of a few (Rickenbacker, Godin,) I have no real desire to.
I got one of those. I bought it at a flea market. I wanted a piece of crap that I didn't have to care about anything happening to it, such as: scratching, killing, smashing, or anything destructive.
Even with a 22 inch monitor that image is HUGE!!!!!
seriously lol dang. I always wanted to try an Ibanez RG, I always gravitated to my esp's or friend's Epiphone gibson makes. Do they handle more like a strat type or what?
Here is One Of My Guitars, It's Prob my favorite one.
It's a Gibson Voodoo V,
The Pickups and action on this guitar are amazing.
note i took the pic before i gave it a nice cleaning.

I absolutely love mine. It's RIDICULOUSLY fast. I've never played a strat so I don't know, but I went to a guitarcenter to try out a bunch and the Ibanez RGs just felt right. I think it's a righty guitar shot in a mirror- tricky!
Guitars with 'history' are great, even if it is only 12 years old.
I've got an SG style, from a Martin/Sigma shop in Japan- not an actual Gibson. Love it, though!

Say what you want about Squier, this thing plays just as good as any Fender. You can check out reviews if you doubt me, hehe.

Hi, new to the site and I noticed this topic on the side of the page.
I currently own three guitars, but I'm still learning.
I have a Mexican Telecaster,
And I have an S101 Semi-Hollow body guitar
My third is an Esteban American Legacy acoustic... Sounds like crap though, it was my first :/
