Tune Contest #35 - Film Character Theme

For all the dreamers: Our planet's dream is not over yet...

For this Contest we will be making a theme for a character, BUT
It has to be a character from a MOVIE or TV/anime Show.
No Video game movies ( Advent Children, Cut scene/ spin offs ).<----

Track can be as long as you like. Any instrument and you can
submit as many as you like! Each track will hold up on it's own
so no worries what one you want to submit. Try to match the movies music!
You guys can even Collab this one if you can.

I will give this contest 3 weeks since we have
been pushing them lately.

Yep. Great thing about movies is that most of the time the music is for the "Event"
and not the character on screen. So your free to do whoever! Godlike or a shop owner lol.

How about animes based off a visual novel? There have been discrepancies among the fans whether or not they are considered "games."

Just movies and tv shows. No interactive reading anything. I really don't even see this as a question I mean come on lol there are a million + choices to work with.

Animes are TV shows with a script. Tv shows are tv shows with a script and movies have scripts as well. I don't even see how anyone can confuse an interactive experience and a comic book. Ones a video and ones on paper.

Exactly.

He didn't answer my question. The theme being done would be in the script of the anime derived from the VN and NOT the VN itself. I've never played a VN and I never plan to. All I needed was a simple:
1) Yes, VN's are considered games, use different material to work with since I consider it a spinoff of a game.
or
2) No, VN's are not considered games, you can use the anime based off the VN as your theme piece.

Idk? I never bothered reading all past 34. Thought it would be a nice change from rehashing the same games. There are tons of characters in movies who don't have "themes".

I just thought it kind of strange to make it a point to have no video game related material.
Not that the theme is bad or anything. You just wanted to do something different.

There are more choices in movies and animes than there are video games. Most of which have NO themes at all. Whats the difference between RPG Characters and Anime ones? There are like 1000 Cloud clones out there to choose from.

Hell look at LOTR and Star Wars. Those 2 are worth more then almost if not all video game franchises anyways.

So I was going to do a theme for Finn, but realized Adventure Time doesn't really have much adventurous music, but the short music on the title cards is usually chiptune. So here's an upbeat song made of bleepy bloops.

I went a little overboard with the melodies, every frame has a brand new one and most of them begin on a different key than the previous! And the jazzy part is a reference to the noir episode when BMO is a detective.

Ok! Sorry it took so long! xD My theme is for a character from a film titled "Dream Boy." The character it is for is Nathan. I rushed on it because if I didn't it would have taken me a lot longer to submit it. I think it still sounds pretty decent nonetheless.
