Crooked pinky?

Just wondering if anyone else on here had a pinky like this. I hear it has to do with genetics, but I wish I didn't have it because I think it looks gross. xD

Also, would it be a disadvantage to someone to have a pinky like that? I can't really tell as I've never been able to play with a different pinky, obviously.

I can't tell just from looking at a photo if it would be a disadvantage. My pinky doesn't do that, anyway.

By the way, I can't bend my ring and pinky fingers that far forward at the last joint, unless I'm curling my fingers. So I can't recreate your pose at all xD

i've seen lots of pinky's like that but never on anyone who played instruments!
i knew a guy once who had toes for fingers though so at least you're not him

Slightly like that here as well.
See it like this: by stretching your pinky it'll be able to go further than a pinky positioned like your middle three fingers.
So basically this could be practical for guitar? And don't judge the beauty of your hands, there will always be worse.

How your hands look are pretty much based on genetics and your childhood (depending on sport/activities/if you had to practice piano). Deal with it, you can become a great musician in both cases. Although you won't be able to hold Rachy's largest pianist chords with small hands, that fucker.

Some debussy preludes have already trolled me that way. I'll still try to see how one could manage rachy's preludes, just by fast chord switching (arpeggiatting such chords sounds more annoying). But that might not be recently anyway.

All of my fingers are like...curved or something. It's really gross. I'll try to take a picture when my phone is not being dead.

EDIT: I did not realize how hard it would be to take a picture of my own hands. Sorry for shit quality hopefully its clear how fucked up my fingers are. Basically if you put your two index fingers flat against each other side by side with your thumbs tucked in your fingers should line up. Mine don't. That's as straight as they will go. It makes barring very difficult.

Also I'm a little scare of posting sexy hand pics with musenji around. We all know how you get about hands!

Here's me trying to barre by lining up the side of my index finger with the fretboard. (didnt embed because picture came out huge, I dunno why)

Such hands can be in a professional athlete. Do you know how strong the load on an athlete can be during important competitions? I always follow the performance of the guys from the rugby team at stbet-bookmaker.info. Any injury is immediately reflected in the final odds for the next match. I need to know about this so that my forecast is optimal.
