Great choose, I heard that one the last time covered years ago by Nanaki's View =)

The bass is done, but the leads aren't. I'm still trying to find the perfect tone for leads, but I like this one a lot.

Your bass jammingtrack sounds cool so far and the drums also, they're self-programmed?

hehe, the progam-leads are sounding a bit like Gary from Spongebob *maumaumaaaaauuuu* [email protected]__v xD

Sorry guys, it's been a long time since I've shown my mug around here hehe
I kind of had to put my projects on the backburner because I'm really leaning toward getting a new guitar and a POD or even POD HD.
Here's the guitar I've been looking at:
Jackson DK2
Still not sure yet. I want to make a proper choice if I'm going to drop like a grand on some new stuff :S hehe
Any suggestions?

Congrats!

I just picked up some new gear myself (a Godin nylon duet), love the thing going to try and fit it in for my Medley.

If your going to get a POD you might as well get a HD ,it will suit your needs far better than the standard. It always includes an expression pedal which can be very handy.

That jackson is pretty sexy though, and they are very good value-price and the 59/JB combo is pretty much the holy grail of Seymour Duncan pups. The only companies that come to mind that offer something comparable in quality and price is the PRS -SE<?> editon, Shechter, Cort and maybe a few prestige Ibanez.

If you have the opportunity you should try playing them in person, comfort and feel trump all IMO.

- DSheltonator : You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet

About myself i'll do :
- Cait Sith's Theme with Link_strife07
- Cid's Theme
- Shinra Medley (Mako Reactor, Turks Theme, Shinra Corp, ? (any idea?))

For this Medley i'll ask some help for backing, drums/percussions and bass... And if someone wants to participate (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, synth...) you're welcome :)

Well my endeavors of getting the guitar I wanted have been thwarted by the holiday season.
The bastard is sold out!! haha Shit whatever, maybe I can get it early next year though.

But hey I'm still down to contribute :-)
I've already had my cover planned for a while now... Just gotta work around recording with my mic and noisy roommates : \

edit: My song consists of "Who Are You?" small excerpt from "Lurking in the Darkness" then "Who am I?" I'm thinking of calling it "Who's there?"

and Hash I've had a pretty cool way to play "Mako Reactor" for quite some time now.
I'll try to record it so you can check it out here soon

Work at my job has come to a screeching halt due to the business I work for having a minor tax dilemma. So I'll have alot of freetime in January to finish up some of my projects (:

Yhea show me the way you play mako reactor :)

EDIT : Hey guys, here is the backing DSheltonator made + me playing 2 guitars and basse for "Sandy Badlands".

As i don't have the time to work on this song it would be cool if one (or more) of you would play the Melody (track 4) GP5 File

(The end from 3.10 is for a solo, if you don't want to make one i'll do one ;)

So you cna use electric guitar, acoustic, bass, synth... whatever to make the melody ^^

But it would be sad to let an unfinished song on the road...

I played through your tab of "Mako Reactor" today. Good job man
I do a couple of things differently. I play the first part with a delay effect on (not as many extra notes)
and I thought I played some of the chords different, at first look, but you just added some bass notes giving some of the chords a fuller sound. I like it :-)

I've been playing quite a bit now since I have all this time off work.
Can't really record anything because I can't find time alone at my house without my roommates here. The tiniest noises are picked up through my microphone haha it's annoying
I should be able to get my song done in January though.

I prefer a mixed Version, the normal has a nice form of increasing from the soft to a bit harder and that sounds great :)
If you cross those two, so that it begins with the soft one, which also has a softer drumming and that rises up to the normal, it would be purrfect imho :)
