I see some cool ideas flying around this brainstorm of a project hehe =^.^= awesome
Finally! No work this weekend!!
Might actually get some time to work on my song, which is going to be Who am I?/Who are you? with a very small excerpt from Lurking in the Darkness(Sector 4 tunnel theme) in-between. So, that's what I'm doing Hashel :-)
I might cover Mako Reactor as well.
I figure that we can all cover whatever we want to and decide which ones to throw on the "album" in the end.
Doesn't matter if we have 1 cover of a song or 10, everyone should just have fun and not worry who is doing what song. d(^_^)b
"Doesn't matter if we have 1 cover of a song or 10, everyone should just have fun and not worry who is doing what song. d(^_^)b"
I think, if we have too many multiple full versions of one song where we have to choose, it´ll result in some type of competition what Hash wanted to avoid...so it makes sense, that we sort and also have here an overview, what is made by who^^
@ Hash
Oke, I´ll try to guitarize that Traitor^__^
@Otto
Awesome Backtracking is awesome!
Especially that part from 01:08 sounds great :D
Yeah for sure, I understand not wanting to have a bunch of covers for the same song.
I was kind of exaggerating when I said 1 or 10 though ;-) haha
I was trying to make a point that this shouldn't be like musical chairs, leaving someone out because the songs are already "picked".
Don't want someone to feel discouraged to submit a cover just because someone says they're doing it :-)
Yep, I definitely agree with both of you guys. Obviously you can do a cover someone else is doing, even if it's just for fun! But yeah, once again, that's just me.
EDIT: And thanks guys, I'm almost done with Jenova. Just gotta master dat thang.
This was pretty fast Link_Strife07 :)
I don't have much time to work on mine with DShentonator... And i don't know, the song is not easy to play but i have some problems to make it sounds how i want it to sound...
Anyway as i said we have until the end of September, i'll do a 2nd song too :)
Have the final line-up for the medley done and pretty much figured where I'm going with it, should have a mp3/.wave mix that should give everyone an idea of how it sounds. Hopefully the arrangements don't take to long XD
I was trying to incorporate sound effects from the game to help bridge one song to the next, all the songs where part of the Remastered soundtrack so they may sound a bit different which may explain why you think the end is odd.
Right now this is simply a guide for me and to get some feedback, once the arrangement is finished I expect the final version to sound very different than this one. ( hopefully good sounding to!)
If you want to be technical it's "Opening ~ Bombing Mission" but I figured everyone knew what I would mean.

I´m looking for the next song^^
There are so many I reaaally want to make, but they are a bit hard and fast to play... Hurry! is such a song... that fast melody in the background is for guitar = O___O

Awesome, I started working on Flowers Blooming in the Church a while back so I'll make that my entry. I'm pretty busy almost every day but I'll get it in as soon as I can :)
