Just by looking at the file, it looks like you over compressed the hell out of it. After listening to it, your entire kick drum is drowned out, actually the entire drum kit is. Is there even a snare? (on both my cheap headphones and my Shure headphones) |

I was listening to this on my laptop, and yes the drums were drowned out. But since you were asking how the guitars sounded, I move on. I thought it sounded pretty nice :) |

there is no drum in the orig song. its more of a bassy wood click beat. so its like that on purpose.

How does this sound? The guitars.
1. headphones, what kind
2. Speakers , what kind? laptop or pc?
im trying to find a good balance of Impulses for each guitar.
It's rather difficult to get a full sound both with and without the headphones.
I havent dove much into EQing yet. just built a mockup and thought I would ask for some basic advance on what sounds good to all of you.
It's one of those things that sound great coming out of studio speakers but once I put the phones on I always eel that their is never enough guitar XD
