No, I'm not leaving this community, but I'm just looking for a site like Gametabs, but isn't limited to just videogame/anime music.

I want a site dedicated to posting movie/pop/misc/etc music instrumental guitar arrangements by users themselves. I tried Googling, but really couldn't find much (maybe I'm using the wrongs terms :/)

Oh, rule #1: Free. For both arrangers and audiences.

Thanks

There are a lot of guitar tab sites, the only one I use sometimes besides this is ultimate guitar but with such a large site there isn't really any moderation

Thats where I usually go for my guitar tabs. They have a great amount of video game and anime stuff too if you know where to look.

If your rule number one is free, stay away from ultimate guitar. Aside from all the stolen tabs http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/lonlonjp_tabs.htm and plain bad tabs, you can only view some tabs in full if you give them money http://tp.ultimate-guitar.com/m/misc_computer_games/megaman_x_-_storm_ea...
If I had to recommend a site that wasn't GT, I guess azchords is okay
Good luck or something

If it's fingerstyle stuff you're looking for, try www.classtab.org. A bunch of great classical stuff up there, but if you only pay electric it won't be much use

Don't listen to this guy. he clearly went to Ultimate guitar + ( Plus ).
And that's to have the program that lets you View the tabs Online in the player.
Every tab there and 911 tabs is linked from other sites and even have a few versions of each tab from different locations or program versions.

http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/m/misc_computer_games/megaman_x_-_storm_... As noted you simply scroll down and click "DOWNLOAD" for the tab file. And it's hardly anything from "stolen" on the site. They collect tabs from everywhere and have them in one single location like they always have done. Before this site even existed. So unless a tabber here was CHARGING for his tab then it's free to use. and all the copyright info should still be in the tab to give whomever credit. So please learn how the world works before you start accusing sites when you clearly didn't know how to use it from the link you linked. It's the GOOGLE of tab sites.

Err, I just clicked on the link that Rook gave for the lonlonjp tabs. I saw a tab that I made (Elite Four). It was the exact guitar pro file that I originally created a long time ago, except that all of my information was stripped off.

Honestly, I don't really care all that much that someone took credit away from my hard work. However, I'd be willing to bet that some of those other lonlonjp tabs are in the same situation, and I do care when valued members of Gametabs have had their credit stripped from them. Whether you want to call this stripping and changing of information "stealing" is debatable, however I cannot in good conscience recommend ultimateguitar, either.

This is not a rare issue. Ultimateguitar has a reputation for hosting tabs with incorrect credit information. This isn't a problem as some misinformation is bound to slip through. However, ultimateguitar also has a reputation of not removing tabs with incorrect credit information when politely asked. They have been very rude about it in the past from what I have seen.

i dont think any of my tabs

I have quite a few stolen tabs on ultimateguitar. Generally they strip my name off and just post it. Sometimes they completely mess it up too...1,000 words is like that, they made the entire thing straight quarter notes. And it's obvious that it's mine because the middle section is so unusual. Ah well.

I'm a bit late to the thread, and although there's no community there, ClassClef.com has a huge selection of fingerstyle Guitar Pro/PDFs ( up to 4,000 songs now ).

They're primarily classical and flamenco pieces but there's also a Soundtrack section and 56 Beatles songs over here ( http://www.classclef.com/category/genre/popular/beatles-arrangement ) among other arrangements.

I regularly check the Recent section which gets updated with new songs daily.
