I don't think that's a piano.

I don't think that's a piano. It's the same instrument that plays the rest of the song's melody, maybe a harp But here are the notes. You can adjust the frets and spaces between notes how you want e |------------------------------| B |-----------------------10--12-| G |---12-11-9----9-11-12---------| D |-----------12-----------------| A |------------------------------| E |------------------------------| e |-------------------------------------| B |----------------------12--10---------| G |--------------9-11-12-------------12-| D |---10-9-10-12------------------------| A |-------------------------------------| E |-------------------------------------| e |------------------------10-12-10-12-15-14-| B |-----------10--12-10-12-------------------| G |---11--12---------------------------------| D |------------------------------------------| A |------------------------------------------| E |------------------------------------------| e |---17--19-17----------------17------------------| B |-------------19----------19----20------19-20-17-| G |----------------20-16-20------------------------| D |------------------------------------------------| A |------------------------------------------------| E |------------------------------------------------| e |---------------------------------| B |---------17-19-------------------| G |---17-19-------19---17-----------| D |-------------------------19---16-| A |---------------------------------| E |---------------------------------|

Also on this part at 0:58 I

Also on this part at 0:58 I think you could add a note. The flute plays that B12 twice, but the harp(?) doesn't. e |-------10--12/15--14--14--12--12--10--10--12--10--------------------------| B |---12---------------------------------------------12--12--10--------------| G |--------------------------------------------------------------12----9-----| D |--------------------------------------------------------------------------| A |--------------------------------------------------------------------------| E |--------------------------------------------------------------------------| And at 1:28 I don't think you need that last G9 e |-------------------------------------------------------| B |------------------10---12--------10--------------------| G |---12---11---12-------------11--------12---9~-----9----| D |-------------------------------------------------------| A |-------------------------------------------------------| E |-------------------------------------------------------| Everything else sounds perfect

For the harp(?) part, I think

For the harp(?) part, I think playing firsts measures higher should sounds great. Instead of e |------------------------------| B |-----------------------10--12-| G |---12-11-9----9-11-12---------| D |-----------12-----------------| A |------------------------------| E |------------------------------| Playing e |---15-14-12----12-14-15--17--19-| B |------------15------------------| G |--------------------------------| D |--------------------------------| A |--------------------------------| E |--------------------------------| is better. e |---17--15-----------------------------------| B |-----------17--15-17-15---------------------| G |------------------------16-14-16-14-12------| D |---------------------------------------12---| A |--------------------------------------------| E |--------------------------------------------| and, I think, that's the better join with your next part : e |-------------------------------------| B |----------------------12--10---------| G |--------------9-11-12-------------12-| D |---10-9-10-12------------------------| A |-------------------------------------| E |-------------------------------------| But I think you were listening Colony 6 ~Silence~ when I was trying to tab Colony 6 ~Reconstruction~, and that part can be a little bit different. And, of course, you're right for the last G9 at 1:28, but I'm not sure about the second B12 at 0:58. I'll take care about it very carefully. Thanks a lot for helping me! I still want to finish it :) |
If you start the holy piano

If you start the holy piano in the octave you just indicated, the highest note will end up on the 31st fret of the first string. I've only got 24! Here's how I'd play that part: S S S S -------------| -------------| -12-11-------| -------14-12-| -------------| -------------| S S E E E E E E E S S S S S S S S H e |------------------------------------------------|------------------------------------------------| B |------------------12----------------------------|------------------------------------------------| G |---11-12----14----------------14----12----------|------------------------------------------------| D |14----------------------------------------14----|12-14-12----------------------------------------| A |------------------------------------------------|---------14-12-14-12-10-------------------------| E |------------------------------------------------|------------------------10----------------------| S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S Q Q E E E E e |------------------------------------------------|------------------------------------------------| B |------------------------------------------------|------------8-----------------------------10----| G |---------------------------------------------7--|------------------------------11----12----------| D |---------------------9--7-----------7--9--10----|9-----------------------------------------------| A |------------7--9--10-------10-9--10-------------|------------------------------------------------| E |8--7--8--10-------------------------------------|------------------------------------------------| S S S S S S S S S S S S E E S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S e |---------10-12-10-12-15-14-12----12-14----17----|19-17-14----------14-17-15-17-15-14-------------| B |12-10-12----------------------15----------------|------------------------------------17-15-13----| G |------------------------------------------------|---------20-16-20----------------------------16-| D |------------------------------------------------|------------------------------------------------| A |------------------------------------------------|------------------------------------------------| E |------------------------------------------------|------------------------------------------------| S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S Q Q Q Q e |---------------------------------------------14-|------------------------------------------------| B |13----------13----------13----------13-15-17----|15----------13----------------------------------| G |---16-14-16----16-14-16----16-14-16-------------|------------------------14----------------------| D |------------------------------------------------|------------------------------------16----------| A |------------------------------------------------|------------------------------------------------| E |------------------------------------------------|------------------------------------------------| I wrote one arpeggio as string-skipping since I think that's easiest, but you could rewrite that part if you'd rather play it a different way. Or whatever, that's just how I'd play it.

This is very impressive! I love this tabs!!! I actually haven't a 32-frets guitar (lol), and you're right, this sounds great! Just for the e14 before and after the G20-G16-G20, maybe playing the B19 instead will be more easier than coming from e14 to G20, as we can see the speed of the music... I think we can merge all tabs and propose the Colony 6 ~Restauration~ :) Thank you very much for this. |
I play guitar for only 2

I play guitar for only 2 years and I play very occasionally so I'm not "fluent" ;). Well, I think I'm not enough good to be into string-skipping. Thanks a lot again! |

Hi all!
I'm just working on the main theme for the Colony 6 music in Xenoblade Chronicles. I'm tabbing this for a guitar so, some backgrounds and arrangements aren't here.
I'm basing on "Colony 6 ~Restoration~" which is, IMO, the easier to get started on all variations of the Colony 6 musics...
Can you help me to find this out? I have something like this currently:
After that comes the flute part, then piano part, and I can't transcribe them easily.
Still working on. If someone can help me :).
Thanks a lot!
EDIT: As far as I can tell, the flute part is the same start, i.e.:
But ends with something like that:
Instead of keeping the 9 on the G string.
And then, the holy piano starts :)
