I'm in the process of making a full CD and here's a track I completed. It starts out slow, but it gets pretty complicated, input would be appreciated though I think its complete! 3rd completed track so far!

It was like 7 different instruments, its actually all guitar pro 6, no real instruments. I have a version of myself playing it all, it sounds good, but this is how I really meant it to sound.

And thanks Hashel!

Nope, it's just knowing how to control what you write. Its a lot more than just typin in the tab, you have to shape every note with accents and dynamic control.

Yup, i just discover that a piano melody sounds WAY better on a "piano" track than a steel guitar track and then change the instrument...
I can't really read sheets so i always used guitar track to have the tab and then just change the instrument...
Add reverb is really importent too...

I got into a contract back at the very end of GP5 and I'm hosted on their site, I'm an example of their software

If you're interested, I can post that song too, it gets intense, they only let me host a short segment.

I really like your stuff, keep it coming!

If you want me to give you pointers on making the instruments sound more realistic or fluid I will, I use the program a lot. Like if you want your guitar strums to sound more realistic delete a lot of the notes just randomly so you're not playing the full chord repeatedly, it will make every strum sound different.

A lot of the orchestral instruments are out of tune, the company that makes Guitar Pro said they're working on it, but that was 2 years ago, and still they haven't fixed it.

hey hashel,
i listened to the tracks you have up. i like the first sadness. the intro is nice. i'd like to hear the melody break away a bit more from the chords, but it definitely has a really good feeling to it. even if it is a sad one.
i'd also like to hear another section in the boss battle tracks. something that breaks from the repetition. otherwise it is a good start. (i'll refrain from commenting about the technical programming aspects of it, since i dont know anything about GP).
definitely will follow you on soundcloud, though. look forward to more.
