the most hours you've ever logged in a game?

I just happened to get a glimpse of my brothers playtime in final fantasy X... 364 hours. I was horrified. tell me gametabs, what is the most hours you've ever logged in a game? What game was it?

I don't have the time exactly

I don't have the time exactly but I played wow for like 2-3 years so that ate a huge amount of time.

I also dont have the time for this one but I'm at about 3000 games played in league of legends. (games can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes in extreme cases) so probably at least 1500 hours. Also I've played 300 or so Dominion(side mode) games which takes up probably like 10-20 minutes each. Not to mention time spent idling in game lobbies or bullshitting with people in game.

Other than that maybe DDR, warcraft 3, or street fighter 3 a couple hundred hours each.

I can't imagine myself playing a single player game for 300+hours, it just seems bland somehow. Single player games are rarely challenging outisde of "fake difficulty" or grinding.

I had over 4k hours logged on WoW on my warrior alone.
That game consumed me for about 2 1/2 years,I dropped out of school for it,that game is a soul sucking whore.
God how I miss it.

Thing about Wow playtime is that if you look at it from a /played thing (in game tool that records time spent playing on a character) I'm willing to bet 90% of that shit is AFK in town.

Probably the game I've played the most is either Goldeneye or a Super Smash Bros game. However, since I don't know exactly how long it is, I'm just gonna say Team Fortress 2 - 271 hours so far. Oh, no! I bet it was Runescape that I spent the most time on unfortunately... :| I honestly don't know for sure.

I played Tibia and OGame back in the day. Tibia probably got at least 4 hours a night for a year, so there's 1400 hours there. Probably closer to 2000 once the weekend is factored in though. ;_;

OGame was often played in parallel and I probably spent 1000 hours on it, of which 250 were probably separate from the already included tally.

I remember when I quit OGame. It was just the idea, that no matter how good I became, and no matter how much better I was than everyone else, that it was just a damn game and that it did not mean anything to anyone who meant something to me. Worst of all, I would have had to lie to myself to say it meant something to myself. So all of a sudden, I gave my account to a good friend (I was ranked 7/5000 on my server at the time) and continued with other more meaningful pursuits.

For console games about 400 for FFVII and 250 for Kingdom Hearts. Other games I don't remember an elapsed time.

Thankfully I've never played an mmo for more than a few months before I start finding it mindlessly boring - even when I'm playing with mates. Star Wars Galaxies pre cu probably ate up 100 or so hours. Life sucking games...

Most of my gaming was done in my early years. Stuff like pokemon, final fantasy, homm, morrowind and armored core easily consumed most of my free time. Although I havn't played games seriously for some years now, I had a save on armored core: last raven which was about 250 hours.

Way too much, online games are scary. Offline I can grind/marathon them till I get everything, but online it doesn't 'end' as quickly Glad I haven't touched any for a year now, I just never have problems when it comes to wanting to grind offline nor online, and that stacks hours in an impossible way 1:

Offline is probably sengoku rance, and it's a record that took only 3-4 weeks, gahahaha that was a stronger drug than any mmo I've touched. And I'm never touching WoW.

Probably Pokemon. One file I did maybe 150 hours. Combined, I'd say I've played a good 400 or 500 hours of pokemon in my life.

Longest Game Session: 40 hours no sleep on lineage 2, on vacation I played with the people that played at night until 7 AM, then I played with people that woke up to play at that hour and then on the afternoon, until I decided it was too much... like I used to say "Sleeping gives no exp"
As a note I was a prophet there (Chronicle 2 at the time in a private server, before prophets became pet buffers)
so in a full party my mission was to buff the party then sit for 20 minutes, then buff and then sit again... so I was most of the idle time playing guitar, so I could say that I learned classical guitar playing Lineage 2 lol...

Most time on a game:
DOTA, I played along like most nights for like 5 years
CS1.6, was playing also like the same amount of time I played DOTA

Now I can't really give that much time to a single game...

I've never played any MMO games, so I probably haven't played any individual game for thousands of hours, but I have somewhere around 700 hours logged on Smash Bros. Brawl. That only includes time I spent playing it on my Wii, so that's not counting any of the time playing it over at friends' houses or anything. My Wii also says I've played Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn for about 200 hours (that's spread across 3 1/2 times playing through it).

Musenji, your 200 hours or whatever in Dragon Quest/Warrior 4 is pretty cool, but have you played Dragon Quest IX? That game can consume a good chunk of your life. I've played Dragon Quest IX for something like 550 hours, and I still didn't get 100% (filling up your alchenomicon takes forever).

I did beat it on hard mode my second time through. Seeing as there are no battle saves, I can see how you could get frustrated and quit, because it was really hard to keep your characters alive though every battle. Actually, during the final battle, you basically just have to let the final boss slaughter a bunch of your characters. That's what happens at the end of every Fire Emblem game; you keep everybody alive through the whole game, and then sacrifice like 5 characters in the final battle.

Yeah, but I hadn't even gotten to the final levels yet. I was still in chapter 4 on the bridge level, and I was trying to level up like four laguz(I think) and also get Rolf(the best archer :D) and Boyd to promote. I got both of them to promote, but then I moved Ike too far ahead, and they just got reinforcements and...Ike died :'( It took me forever to level all those people and then all that progress just lost...I just gave up on that game it pissed me off so much lol
