Gametab's Challenge Riff/Lick of the Week #6

Who's down for Gametabs's challenge riff/lick of the week.
If you master it, I guarantee your technique will improve big time.

This week I challenge you with a simple string skip arpeggio that I came up with...because I don't have much time this week.

This will be a challenge for those of you who have never practiced any string skipping licks.

Please do participate and post a video even if you have not mastered this riff so feedback can be provided to help you improve!

Deadline February 18 Saturday 11:59 PM EST

Q&A

Mastering? What counts as mastering?
Playing with precision and cleanly at the given tempo, not going offbeat at all.

Okay so what do I have to do?
Record yourself playing the riff/lick with just audio or audio with video(preferred). If you do not record with the backing track, please at least use a metronome so we know you are playing at the right tempo. Once you meet the criteria above, post a reply and your entry will be posted at the bottom of this post.

How many times do I play it?
Play licks once. Riffs will be specified by the poster.

Can I play it differently than how it is tabbed?
Sure. You can change the positioning of the notes, but do not add or remove notes, or do anything that can be considered cheating.

What do I get if I win?
Winner of each week will be featured on the front page with a link to his/her entry as an article. Winner also gets to choose next riff or lick. But that's just for fun, the real reward will be towards your own guitar technique.

What riff or lick can the winner choose for the next challenge?
Anything that the winner is able to play and believes that it will help people improve their technique.
This is NOT a I betcha can't play this thread!

What anti-trolling rules are in place for the winner?
If requested, the winner will have to post a video of himself playing the riff/lick he chose in case his riff/lick seems impossible!

Has Shinichi Kobayashi influence mixed in too, since he does quite a bit of string skipping himself. Took me like 2 sec to come up with this as you can see that it is repetitive, lol.

Don't give up hope, I might record something tonight. Pod and reaper were acting up but I got a whole new set of different picks to try out tonight. Gonna try that legendary Jazz III ultex.

I have those jazz ultex picks

My Entry Ok for the sake of this thread I did it xD I tried doing it as fast as I could on my acoustic. Its freaking hard with 12 gauge strings lmao. Maybe a "can you play this style?" contest would be a good idea? But it would only last a few weeks I guess.
