SoM's titles are all references to Hiroki Kikuta's favorite works, and this one is the Japanese title of the film _Heart of Darkness_, 闇の奥. So the proper translation would be Heart of Darkness. But I guess you shouldn't call the tab that, even though it'd be more accurate, since no one would search for that... :-) Just being a translation geek, here.

That sounds spot on Auri!! =^.^= As for the translation, I have read about Hiroki's referencing films/books he likes in his song titles. I think your true translation would be a fitting title but "In the Dead of Night" seems to be the most popular. |

Do you think I should do an easier part for those who can't reach the higher frets? I think this song would be good to integrate into a live show using the different renditions at different times. For instance, I was playing the true version of this song then played "Whisper and mantra" and "Mystic Invasion" then played my first version of this song and it sounded pretty sweet! |

For sure, I understand you not wanting to jeopardize my decisions with your suggestions. hehe but.... The way I see it is like: Say I'm eating an uncooked frozen burrito; I am liking it and think it's good; then, you see me and bring over a cooked one; obviously I am going to think the cooked one taste better because it is the proper way. make sense? haha So, basically there's no reason to use my first version because the true chords sound so much more on point. I'll still use my first version in live performances because it sounds awesome when you switch it up. I added the easier part as well =^.^= |

Personally, I just use them to space out my notes proportionate to the rhythm, and if I think the tab needs the rhythm to be notated, I end up writing it above Guitar Pro style, like Q. and W and E and so on. But whatever, I like the style you use ^-^
