Yeah Ive been following this too, its horse shit. I'm sure they have some legitimate grounds to arrest some of these people as the founder has a laundry list of criminal activities but taking down megaupload for piracy? That is some SOPA shit right there. The timing of this is HELLA suspicious too. I thought safe harbor laws prevented this kind of thing. I for one welcome our new Orwellian overlords. GENERAL THOUGHTS?.
As for me. lol. well there's still hundreds of sites like megaupload. The FBI says this has nothing to do with SOPA, but the timing of something like this is just too convenient don't you guys think? (a Day after the Blackout protest pretyt much).
EDIT: And funny enough, following the shutdown of Megaupload, the following sites have been hacked:
-Department of Justice
-Warner Music Group
-Universal Music
-White House Site
