StrangeJam's Challenge Riff of the week #3

Alright, who's down for SJ's challenge riff 3rd Edition.
If you master it I guarantee your technique will improve big time.
This week I challenge you with an original riff which will, if needed, improve your right hand picking.

Mastering this riff? What counts as mastering it?
Playing with precision and cleanly at the given tempo, not going offbeat at all.

Okay so what do I have to do?
Record yourself playing the riff, just audio, audio with video, doesn't matter, once you meet the criteria above. Winner of each week will be featured on the frontpage with a link to his/her entry, as an article, as well as getting the right to select the next challenge riff! but that's just for fun, the real reward will be towards your own guitar technique.

This melodical and relatively riff will for the most part require strict alternate picking motions, specially once the 32ths kick in, which is what I consider the tricky part of this week's riff. Good luck and have fun!

lol dw i played mine at...60-70 bpm when the actual riff was at 90 bpm.
Just play as slow as you want ^w^
I still made mistakes in the recording i put up anyways lol.

This was strangely easy

This was strangely easy compared to the previous two. I gave up on the first one after raising the bpm to somewhere around 105 and after that it didn't sound clean anymore. I didn't even try the second one because CpxAzn is clearly insane. The first riff is still the best one as I still find myself playing it from time to time. Nice warmup.

Alright! Here.
I had to convert the midi to an mp3 to get it to work with Ableton, but for some reason whenever I put it in Ableton it set the tempo as 84.97 and I never changed the tempo in gpro, so I can't tell if the tempo was really changed or not o.O This was the best one I could manage even though I think I went out of time at one point near the end...

I enjoy these challenge riffs :D

that was pretty damn good ranulf! you've improved a lot since the last time I heard a recording from you, even the guitar tone is pretty nice lol, keep it up, and it's a good thing you find them enjoyable, hope they are indeed helping your technique as intended lol
