Yay ! My first tab !
I loved so much Space Harrier in my childhood ( loved the Arcade and the SMS version ), and never find a tab, so here it is . . .
Is a simple tab in "Archard Style", nothing amazing, but I think that can work.
Hope that I post this in the right topic ( as I said this is "my first time" ), and I hope that some of you will enjoy it.

I think your guitar was tuned a half step down, becuase the notes are one fret off. So everything should be moved down one fret like this begginning part:

E||-13---12--12----|-------3----5----|
B||----------------|-----------------|
G||----------------|-----------------|
D||----------------|-----------------|
A||----------------|-----------------|
E||----------------|-----------------|

Also you made "mistake" many people do on their first tab. You put most of the notes on the top e string. Try moving some notes down to other strings to reduce neck movement like this:

D||----------------|-----------------|

If you are unsure of where notes are, plug your tuner in and play a fret, it'll tell you. So you can move them into the same area and make it easier to play. Like e3 is also g12, as hsl pointed out.

There is an easier way than using a tuner. Just move up five frets each time you go to a lower string, except from the b string to the g string, which is four frets.

Right, that works too, but you know sometimes when you move things it's not exactly in the same position...I don't feel like I'm being very clear but I think you know what I mean. I'm sick today so my head is kind of foggy lol

If they aren't, that means you should get the intonation on your guitar fixed. It doesn't mean you should change the tab.

Ah, I didn't see the thread where he said that. You should listen to him. Setting intonation is easy :-)

EDIT: Actually, didn't you set the intonation on your guitar before? I thought I remembered something like that from one of your video descriptions. My memory is hazy.

No, I meant I was saying the same thing he said. My intonation is fine, yeah I fixed it back then. What I mean is, if you're playing something on the e and b strings, and you move it up to b and g, your fingers won't be in the exact same position.

Is a nice version ( probably way better than mine ! ) but I still like the "slide" of mine.

What slide exactly? The 3-15e? You were saying that was difficult for you, which is why I suggested tabbing it like so. You can add in your own technique when you play, a tab is just a basis of the song so you know what notes to play. You have to figure out when slides/bends/harmonics sound good. And you're welcome, just showing you how to make it easier to play...

Thanks for editing it bicardi. I changed the first note on the 6th line and two first two notes on the 7th line
also added an extra part of the melody around 2:30 that was left out

Hey HSL & Bacardi I don't want to sound boring or stuff like that, but I like more the way my tab is played . . . I mean is more in "my style".
Bacardi's one is way better than mine, I know that, but is really not in my style . . .
If you want I can work more on it, and make it more similar to the one from Bardi >_<

I didn't check it at first, becuase I assumed bicardi's version was the same notes on different strings, which I think it is. The second version was in the correct key, but you still had a lot of notes on the high e string.

Yeah, but he left out the faster part at the very end of the song. Pasto, if you want to slide e3-5, just do g12-14 for the [basic] same result

Yeah, the 12 13 to 3 5 and back thing can sound cool, and it's easy to play. The 12 9 6 5 3 1 0 is awkward, though--barely playable. The 8 10 9 6 5 3 1 isn't as bad, but it's a little awkward. Bacardi's version is a lot easier to play.

Actually, that 12 13 slide 3 5 slide thing is addictive. XD Pasto style!

Hm . . . I put many empty space for the right timing ( I like that ) , so How can I keep timing with slide symbol ?

You can write either 3/5 or 3s5. As for timing, I don't know anything about that but I try to gap it accordingly to the timing of the song...anything I tab I am pretty familiar with already :shrug:

Pasto, just a suggestion - and you can take this with a grain of salt - but when I submit a tab ot the site, I try to make it for playability. When I want to change strings or do technique, I do that on my own. I want people to be able to read my tabs and play the song easily. But it's up to you.

Well, I think that now is kinda an easy tab to play ( really thanks for your help in the final part ! ).
Lot of person ( mee too ) have some problem to play tab that are allways over the 10th fret.
I feel more confortable with my version of the tab ^^

Hah, I'm the opposite, I am better on the higher frets (7+) and the lower strings. That's probably why I never play rhythm. I think when I get my new guitar I might be better, as the neck is thinner (I don't like Strat style guitars). I usually try to tab songs to sounding as close as possible to the actual song because when I practice guitar playing I do play along with the song. Like I said totally up to you...as long as the notes are right and everything it's all good!

Btw, I'm a rythm guitarist ( allways do the rythm in my bands ), so thats maybe why we have such different style of play Bacardi ! One day we shall play something together ! ( even "by internet", I mean, I will record the rythm part and you can record the solo part ).
