IRC really has nothing to do with gametabs, honestly it's more of a chatroom for Sjam and his friends.

I realized I was only going in to talk to a handful of people and they stopped going to IRC.

Now I just go on to look for Nate and then sign off.....lol.

Well I can't say I'm super "up" on what's been happening in irc since I haven't been there in a month or so but.

-Jacob has been away with his military obligations
-Auri stopped going into IRC a while ago
-A lot of people are in drastically different time zones so they're awake at different times.
-I used to go in there every day and blab and it always seemed dead whenever I wasn't starting up a conversation. (which to be fair was usually about league of legends and since I didn't want to spam, moved the conversations with Aquaknight to other places.)
-Some people that hang out on irc are just constantly AFK or never actually say anything.
-A lot of people on IRC don't even play guitar.
-IRC is pretty douchetastic to new people and tends to have an elitist clubhouse mentality. Not exactly a good way to build a community.
-Salem can ban evade easier in IRC than the forums.

Eh of the 'active' irc community, most do play guitar.

Was active during July, and I was busy 95% of the time of August but whenever I'd come to check IRC then it was generally more dead then before, true. Once I get internet in Strasbourg I'll be able to spam irc again if the need arises <:
