The theme:

Summer

(It's kind of like the opposite of winter.) Write music that evokes blue skies, fun in the sun, the lack of school, whatever summer means to you!

Standard requirement package: at least 1 minute long.

I promise the judging will be TOTALLY SUBJECTIVE. Have fun!

Ok ok here is my entry... It's "The Fire Dance" i imagined a sunny valley with people dancing around a big fire ^^

Sadly the midi => mp3 export changed the sound of some tracks and the song doesn't have the same spirit anymore =/

Well, you can ask for my opinion! Youtube made their subscriptions feature pretty hard to use, so I haven't been checking anyone's Youtube pages lately, and I haven't been able to keep up with listening to every recording on GT. But if you ask me, I'll listen! I can't guarantee I'll have any useful feedback though XD

I'm going to do a few covers this month.

I'll listen to your Fire Dance (makes me think of the FF6 English translation!), but not until all the entries are done--I usually listen to all the entries together.

hashel, at first yours made me just think of "pagoda" but then it reminded me a little bit of walking around in the desert in Secret of Mana, and after listening to them all several times I have decided you win!!!! the more I heard it, the more that image cemented in my mind.

If there be another contest, it be run by hashel! or one he deems worthy.

sounds and stuff, yours really made me think of a title screen for some obscure-ass NES beach games game, so kudos. :D

max, I could definitely see yours playing as background to a photo album from a summer romance. :-)
