I had that problem...I have a Strat clone. Someone on here suggested fixing the intonation, and it went away. Just google it with your type of guitar and it should tell you. If it's too difficult, take it in to get set-up. |

If you can provide more information about what doesn't sound right, we might be able to help. Fret buzz sounds like this... |

Is it the thicker strings or the thinner strings that are buzzing? When you press down on the string, make sure you are playing close to the metal of the fret, that way the string bends over the metal better. |

I just recently bought this guitar from amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002PZBNO
This is my second guitar technically my third if you count the rockband squier controller and thus am a beginner.
As soon as i started playing it i noticed something wrong with the string sounds i later found out that it was fret buzz. After letting my friend take a look at it he said something about adjusting the trust rod which he did.
The thing is since i'm a beginner i'm not sure if he fixed it correctly because when i play it still doesnt sound right to me maybe its my not being that experienced with the sound of more expensive guitars. My question is should i take it to be repaired if so does guitar center repair guitars.
thanks in advance
