I actually had a boss battle song lying around. You don't have to count it in the contest if you don't want to max. I don't know anything about percussion and this is the first time I ever used drums in a song. It might not sound good, but those parts sound empty without the drums. And the choir part was originally intended to be an after battle, boss defeated song, but it seemed too short on its own so I threw it in as part of boss battle. I guess this is some sort of ghost boss or something... Edit: Changed the drums a bit

well this doesn't count as my piece but i spontaneously wanted to make a dance track. I guess this could work as a battle theme in a way. I guess this is for people who are looking for ideas and want to explore the realm of battle music outside of a metal sound. This was done in an hour and theres no mixing at all so thats why its short and still is a WIP |

Actually, musically speaking it can make a difference. Boss battle music generally has a pretty different feel from regular battle music. However, I just wanted to see if I remembered correctly. I know that at this forum, posts can be edited without anyone knowing, so I was curious. I usually think of boss music as being more epic, so maybe I somehow translated "epic battle theme" into "boss theme" in my mind.

I really like this theme, but I might not be able to write a song in time. I did try, but I deleted both my attempts because they were terrible :-) I need to write a battle song for my game, so I was planning on using tune contest as an excuse to give myself a deadline for it. But I'm not sure it'll be over a minute long, sadly. Still, hopefully I can come up with something, and if it's too short, I'll post it anyway!
