My first time posting something here. When I had a band I make some song, nothing special, just some trash-punk stuff, today I try to make another one "in my style". I put like 5 minutes to make this :D
I know its crap, but is "just" a "proto version" of a trash-punk song, it have to be like this :D
Its not real zip file, rename it in wav.
If you say that can be ok, I will work on it.

Ho do you make the Harmonies liek in the middle of the song? the melody 3 frets higher ?

i would like to have your opinion about my work (about the arrangement, the mix and my playing) on Oh Fortuna by Carl Orff, i made a tab from a midi file and made an arrangement to play it on my way... i'm just a bit scared that the middle sounds a bit empty (in the original the lyrics are whispered at this moment) so here is ...

If someone have sometimes too i'd like to have an opinion on my Soldier Battle Tab (few messages before )plz =$

Yhea don't worry it's a beta Version i just added the lead in one shot i have to work more on it, the only thing that i think is good is the rhythm part.

for the background do you think it's form the mix ? I don't really like how the organ sounds, what about the bass and drum ?

I'm happy for the tone because when i make it i somtimes think there is too much delay or reverb but when it's played with a background it's sounds good.

Ty for giving your opinion =)

FFIV - Kingdom Baron 2

Sounds much better to me, i tryed to put the leads a bit more on the left and rhythm on the right to hear them both.
I hope the mix is okay and the song doesn't sounds too charged.

The Rhythm is not on the time (i mean, the mesure start with an empty croche) so i had some difficulty to make it works ^^'

I might do it louder again, but do what you think would be best because I'm really not good at mixing, lol. As for the playing, it sounds almost flawless, but I don't know the notes so I can't really comment on that. Either way, it sounds badass so far 8)

You still have the notes

auriplane

You still have the notes wrong.

Did you learn the notes from a MIDI or listen to the song? If you haven't, try listening to the song. You can mess up a lot of notes and people won't really notice, but don't mess up the long note at the end of a phrase. That one's important.

i did it from a Midi and it sounds perfect from it, but i didn't think to check with the original song as the midi sounded good to me.

thanks for advices Auri And Ranulf :)

EDIT : the only mistake i notice is when i play :

E----13----16---18------
B-13----13---13----13-12

the song goes :

E----13----16---18----19
B-13----13---13----13---

the last note 1octave up ^^

I listened to the backing, and it works okay for your song, but you've got to find a site that has more accurate MIDIs @_@

(Or listen to the song and play by ear, for preference! If you don't start doing that, you won't know when the MIDIs you use are wrong.)
