maybe use a brighter tone for the melody, don't know if its because the tone is to warm or what its sounds untuned sometimes for me =s

I'll try to give some advice!

I don't think the tone has anything to do with whether it sounds "untuned". (That doesn't make any sense. Tone "warmth" doesn't affect intonation in any way. "Warmth" is just more emphasis on lower/mid harmonics, and less on upper harmonics. The frequencies stay the same.) I think you're just pulling the string out of tune in parts. Of course, that's essentially what vibrato is (pulling the string out of tune, specifically sharp when you pull the string sideways). But you need to do it musically.

Like, at 2:11, you pull the string sideways once briefly and then hold the note. Can you imagine doing that while you're singing? Would it be natural? Make your guitar sing, so do what you'd do if you were singing :-) That also means make sure if you're holding the string in one place, you HAVEN'T bent it out of position. (Always "land" on the proper note, and never bend the string if you don't mean to!)

Thanks auri! So pretty much what you're saying is when I do a bend, make sure to always come back to the original note I started on?Like the bend at 0:39, was that good because I came back to the original note? And anyways, I cant re-record the lead because right now something's wrong with my USB cord from my amp. But thanks for the tips! I always love the constructive critisism from you guys :)

You don't have to end on the note you started on. But you shouldn't ever end BETWEEN notes. Like, you can bend up a whole step, and end the note without bending back down. But don't ever start vibrato, and then hold your finger still with the note somewhat bent, so it's sharp. That sounds bad.

It also sounds like you vibrato too early. It sounds like you already bent the string before you picked the note. I think it's important to hear the note clearly before you start the vibrato.

Damned ^^ so we already have the drums aprt that you made i think... Now we need to find a Riff...

i think these chords

--
--5--3--5--7
--4--2--4--6
--2--0--2--4
--
--

are better than

--
--
--
--5--4--4--7
--7--5--7--9
--7--5--7--9

And maybe we can play the rhythm normally and after with a riff, mayebe like that : Riff

tell me what you think, if you have an idea for harmonys etc. Well, i'm tired, have to go bed :p i'll read your answer tomorrow ^^

i don't know who will play what X) i was just asking, there are 2 muted riffs and 2 muted harmony (octave down 1 and 2 otcaves down) i'm not sur the octave sound good... maybe you can put a nexw harmony one, for the riffs, you can chose one of them, or if you really like them, can can play one of them each one :) and i'll mix ant mix the whole thing ^^

ok well lets keep the high

Joined: Dec 31 1969

ok well lets keep the high main lead and then the main lead one octave down ok? and then in the gp5 I just took out the track labled "harmony" because it's easier for me just to record that in later. and then I think we need to make the high lead louder but i'm not gonna go through the whole gp5 (tuxguitar for me) and make everything louder. and here's what I'm thinking:

me: bass, ryhthm guitar, and harmony

you: high lead, lead one octave down and mixing? is that good or you can change some things but here's the new gp5 that I edited: Long way to go

Yhea on the GP6 file the lead

So we play : Drums, Bass, Harmony, Riff 1, 1 Octave Down, Main Melody ?
