For those of you who've never played picross try the tutorial to have it explained to you. There are some techniques I've learned to solve most of these pretty easily but they've all failed me for the puzzle I'm working on now.

Specifically the one I'm struggling with is "Parachute" in the advanced pack 2.

I could figure it out by more or less cheating or trial and error guessing but I know there is some logical way of figuring it out without doing that.

Unless the puzzle is broken or has the wrong clues? I don't know.

If someone knows the technique to guess this SPECIFIC puzzle please let me know.

I did it, the only technique you need is logic. You gotta strategically place your losses, and you can always make logical assumptions based on the fact that its supposed to be a picture.

Wut. I don't think the intention is that you guess randomly.

Puzzle isn't broken, I got it as well. I like to start with ones that have bigger numbers, like the 2,9 or the 2,8,1. I will make assumptions to safely place a few blocks at a time. For example, take 2,8,1. I will say the 2 starts at the very left hand side and count out the blocks, leaving only 1 space in between numbers. Then I will do the same thing, but this time with the assumption that the 1 is on the right hand side. Whatever blocks overlap that share a number group are for sure. The same with the 2,9 I will assume the 2 starts at the top with one space and then the 9, and then go back and assume the 9 starts at the bottom with one space. Whatever blocks intersect on both 9 instances are guaranteed to be there. You have to be able to do a lot of visualization in your head to be any good at these things.

That game doesn't work in my browser :( That's weird, 'cause other flash games do, and I like Armor Games. I'll have to try it later on another computer.

Well I finished the puzzle and yeah kabuki I do all those things that you mentioned as well, I think I just needed to take a break and come back to it because I figured it out once I tried it again.

Probably doesnt help that I work on these at like 5 in the morning when I cant sleep and my brain is dead.

Auri you should get it to work somehow, its fun!
