Hmm, are you sure about this one? There are dissonant chords all over the place, e.g. in bar 16 you're using a minor second which really sounds that bad it makes me want to choke puppies.
So, your bass track is pretty accurate from what I can tell without digging too deep, but I think you should have another look at the guitar part.

Damn...

What would you have me do?
Or at least what would make it "postable", because I am really
starting to get tired of this song...

I can give you the tab stuff Juja and I did for our Shadow's Theme recording if you want.

Let's see, I already posted the bassline a long time ago:

I think these were the chords:

And I think the melody is in the video

Err.. no.
But here's the good news: I found out what's wrong with it. Your guitar and bass are a fourth apart. So go transpose that guitar part down by 5 or up by 7 halfsteps. Then you can start fixing the bass notes of your guitar part, because some of them still are just a second above your bass.

So...

I transposed it up 7 half-steps, but which bass notes are you referring to?

To name a few: In bar 16 the

To name a few:
In bar 16 the bass plays F# and the guitar does G. Minor second = ugh!
In bar 27 bass goes B while the guitar plays A. Major second = not much better!
Bar 35, B and A again.

Sorry for not replying right

Sorry for not replying right away. I had to do some stuff...
So what should I be trying to do, make the bass notes match?
I haven't learned much about music theory or anything, so i
seem to be a bit lost...

actually...

What I meant was, should the bass notes that are played by the guitar be matching those
that are played by the bass?

That certainly is one way.

That certainly is one way. Probably the easiest one, too.
