While I appreciate the suggestion and I absolutely love chrono trigger, I hate that song haha. |

For videogame songs I can

For videogame songs I can only think of two http://www.gametabs.net/psp/crisis-core-final-fantasy-vii/the-price-of-f... http://www.gametabs.net/psp/crisis-core-final-fantasy-vii/night-of-seclu... Unfortunately both use the same chords, but they have different strumming patterns VG music isn't really good for practicing chords. Try ultimate guitar and search for some songs you like. Here is the top 100 songs to get you started. (Too much taylor swift on that list...)

Try Kabukibear's arrangement

Try Kabukibear's arrangement of File Select from Super Mario 64. I'm not sure if this is what your looking for, but the strumming near the end is pretty cool. There's one stretch near in there that's pretty hard at first, but with practice it's easy.

i find that skilled arrangers like Lonlonjp (www.youtube.com/lonlonjp) incorporate full chords into their video game arrangements and i have learned a lot from lonlonjp / chords i never imagined so I highly recommened learning some of his stuff |

I'm glad stairway is falling. Most overrated song ever. Plus they copied a song from a band called taurus.

I wish there was a way to multiquote without copying and pasting each post heh. to tiganior yeah Im trying to find more plucky songs, not so comfortable strumming yet (as dumb as that sounds) hsles I looked at that site you listed, and some of them looked pretty good for practicing. Thanks! To auriplane, you sort of knew me! You posted in my intro thread! Sorry I didn't like your song T_T |
Stairway is pretty overrated.

Actually I think the band is "Spirit", the song is "Taurus". Davy Graham wrote something similar before both those bands anyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWeejHJxGjs#

Hi I've been practicing guitar for a little while now playing things that usually dont have chords. Just single notes or singular strings pressed down and mostly plucky style play as opposed to strumming.
Can someone suggest a song that has pretty simple chords to switch through? I just want to practice switching position with multiple fingers instead of just like 1 finger at a time.
All the songs with chords I find are a bit too difficult or spread too far apart T-T.
Ty for any help you can give!
