Anyone up for Name That Tune??

I did this on another forum to some success and I figured I'd try it here.

Rules:
Person (A), says "I can name that tune in" (in the game show it was notes, but we can do measures), I post that many measures of music, provide a link....first person to guess gets a point, they then decide how many measures for the next round.

1st person to 10 wins....the only thing I can do is send a copy of my CD, yeah, it's self promotion kinds of, but I've got some extras.

These are all fingerstyle tunes, from all genres, from all periods. Any takers?

Well, I don't think there are

Well, I don't think there are enough people here to do a "first answer gets a point" thing, because different people will look at the site at different times. So...

Make it so people have to send you the answer in a private message, so more than one person can get a point for a round. Then give like 24 hours for each one, so everyone can get a chance to play :D

That's my suggestion. I'll play!

The original idea, was to have the person guessing the song be the first person to guess, but people kept guessing anyway. The PM idea works...but it's kind of a pot luck thing because of the fact that people are on at different times.

So REVISED:
PM ME the answer, I will post who got the point in the first 24 hour period. In the event of a tie, the average time it took people to respond will be taken into consideration.

But sure....the first genre:

DISNEY - how many measures will it take you?

Next round is in the TV Theme I did 4 measures on accident, you only need the show not the song....I'll be honest, if you are under say the legal drinking age in the US, it might be tough...maybe not. PM me with the answer!

Well, the songs that were chosen are extremely popular, like the last one, was in the top 10. I'm barely out of my 20's so I really don't see that as an excuse. These songs were used in another forum, all age ranges, and generally speaking everyone got all but one right, and I think that was an arrangement problem.

For instance, St Elmos fire, I was looking for the TV show, and the title artists and TV show were given to me LOL.

*sigh* okay, well most of what I play is either Pop arrangements, classical arrangements, or more Ballad-y type arrangements. All of the songs I've recorded for this are really really easy in my opinion. But after reading some back posts it seems a majority of the people on this board listen to heavy metal of some type, which generally gives me a migrane.

I listen to reggae, metal,

Sorry, I was attempting humor :-) I do actually listen to metal, but not nearly as much as I listen to softer stuff.

I'm afraid I don't know this one either, though. :-(
