Best tab of this song I have ever heard.
It actually synchronises the melody and bass together instead of just providing accompanying bass notes for the melody
(I do theory but I can't remember what its called xD)

Hey ! Thanks dude, it's

Hey ! Thanks dude, it's always nice to have some feedback (especially since nobody out there seems to love me anymore, cuz mah other recent tabs got no commentz. I haz a sad :'( (just kidding :P))
It looks like someone rated it 1 star out of 5 though. Oh well, who cares ?

Don't worry we still love

Don't worry we still love you. I play your coin song arrangement as my wakeup ritual every day.

:o Really ?

:o
Really ?

Mhh

No. I lied, sorry :( But it's probably my favourite from you, heh...

There's got to be a way to

There's got to be a way to express how much you love a thing without telling a lie--and what's more, a lie that is so weirdly specific that it sounds like it wouldn't ever be made up.

("I play this as my wakeup ritual every day" is really, really specific.)

How about "X tab is one of my absolute favorites on the site"?

Oh ! Ok. Then, you'll have to

Oh !
Ok. Then, you'll have to play it 666 times everyday for 666 days, as punishment. è_é"
Welcome in hell brah, MWAHAHAHAHA !

Not very accurate to the

Not very accurate to the original version in terms of the underlying chords and harmonies, but it's a nice spin on it nonetheless. Playability is very solid and it sounds pretty good, but it doesn't have quite as much emotion or intricacy as some others. I do like it, though. It's easier than Stamen's while having significantly more depth than the single-string melodies that plague this site.

I'm an old stickler for keeping things as faithful as possible, but that's entirely my personal preference. Objectively speaking, nice work!

Hey ! Thanks for your

Hey ! Thanks for your comment. Constructive criticism as I like it.
Still, you say this tab is not very accurate to the original version, and you're right... But as an arrangement (not a transcription), it doesn't have to sound 100% exactly like the original track, in my opinion. :P
I understand it when you say it your personnal preference, though.

I always strive for

I always strive for note-for-note, but even I recognize that some pieces simply can't be arranged that way. Nice work!

Did you take Stamen's as inspiration? A number of the measures are exactly the same, musically (though the drop-D tuning alters the fingering a bit).

I didn't actually used

I didn't actually used Stamen's tab as an inspiration, but since I learned to play his arrangement back when I discovered GameTabs, and I still play it sometimes, I guess it has influenced the way I worked on this piece.

I would agree with you that,

I would agree with you that, as an arrangement and not a transcription, you get to take a few liberties.

Some of the best songs ever made are arrangements of the original.

Asturias (Leyenda) was originally written for the piano, but I much prefer it for guitar, and it's soooo different. I would give the original a 4/5 and the guitar version a 5/5.

Here's John Williams playing it in 1975 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0y8l4KijBA0

Or John Williams playing it in the 2000's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQWM8ku2a5o

Good on ya mate, I really like the harmonies you chose. You put a ton of work into this and it payed off!
