I really do love your arrangements and the time put into them, but I don't think I've ever been able to smoothly play a single one of them ._.
I agree karathrow, although
I agree karathrow, although the arrangements are nice, I am not interested at all in fingerstyle or finger picking with any other songs other than acoustic and clean songs. Video game songs in my opinion sound so much better distorted or with some added effects. I would prefer all the tabs be in alternate picking style. The instant I see it's fingerstyle I just close the tab and move on trying to find another one since I'm not interested in that type of sound. :(

Good fingerstyle arrangements
Good fingerstyle arrangements are hard to find. This site is an oasis in a vast, barren wasteland of poorly made tabs 5 note leads. There are electric tabs for pretty much everything, and you can just play the melody from an arrangement like this (or shift it up an octave to make it sound more like a lead electric guitar).
If you enjoy that style of
If you enjoy that style of play that's fine. Can you do regular fingerstyle playing without fingernails or finger picks? That's the stuff I don't like is what I was meaning.
You can do it with the
You can do it with the fingertips, if that's what you mean. It can't be played with a pick.
Learn a tool before you can
Learn a tool before you can say you don't like it. Otherwise, I'll just blame your dislike for a gap in your skill use with a pick versus with fingerpicks or thumbpicks.
Also, yeah you can play fingerstyle without any tools. Look.
also, thumbpicks and hybrid
also, thumbpicks and hybrid picking allows you to play any sort of fingerstyle piece quite simply while achieving the sound you want from a plectrum.

This is so true and probably the reason almost everyone playing guitar limits his play to plec picking or strumming only. If not for this site I probably wouldn't have learned fingerstyle at all. If people complain because of their lack of skill they should go back to 911tabs or something, most of the time it's not even complicated stuff and easy to tab out if it's only the melody. Now compare it to fingerstyle that involves a fair amount of knowledge about music theory.
I really don't understand the reasoning of these people, just like those who complain about stamen's tabs being to hard/complicated for them and therefore rate 1 star.
Well, they're in a minority.
Well, they're in a minority. Fingerstyle arrangements consistently get more and higher ratings than pickstyle tabs.
There are also people who rate transcriptions and pickstyle arrangements down because they aren't fingerstyle arrangements, but these people too are in a minority. People rate tabs for all sorts of reasons, and a lot of those reasons are pretty dumb. It's a not big deal, though--in the end, they're just ratings, and they don't mean very much :-)
The important thing is that we've got a place to share tabs. I think that without a place like this, a lot of these tabs wouldn't exist at all. So I'm grateful for that.
