Well, it's hard to say...most of the time when I am arranging music in this style, I come up with it as I go, so I'm basically learning it while I'm writing it and writing what I'm playing. That being the case by the time I'm done I can usually play it, at least somewhat. So it doesn't take as long to learn it well enough to record.

Well, I actually got serious about both the past 2 years. I have been fooling around with playing and writing for awhile though. I've owned a guitar for 7 years but it was just something I fooled around with when I was bored until about 2 years ago.
