Man Kabuki. You make the best tabs. Lol

I'd almost say it's easier to keep the standard tuning and take the stretches.

Haha, I was about to make a similar comment, ron. I think Kabukibear has fallen a bit too in love with drop D. Great tab nonetheless.

I will almost always try to find away around a 1-5 stretch but I certainly don't think there's anything "hard" about this being in drop D. I think it's more you both hate alternate tunings lol.

Alternate tunings is to me what stretching is to you I guess. lol.

I hate alternate tunings since (as you know) I mainly use these for performance. I always get really nervous when I have to tune in the middle of a performance and will avoid it whenever possible. I don't mind doing it for a big long piece or a set of pieces. But I'm loathe to do it for a short piece so in a case like this I'd just rather take the stretch. It's just a minor quibble of mine.

Yeah I figured that, which is precisely the reason so many of my pieces ARE in drop D tuning. It's a tuning and sound I really like and in an effort to ease performances I purposely put a ton of my pieces in drop D. That way I don't have to retune. ;) But I understand your point.

Sadly, everytime I put it in drop D then tune it back to standard the other strings seem to sound a bit off so I have to retune the entire guitar. Maybe I need new strings or another guitar perhaps (It's been almost a year with these strings)? And yes I tune it back to E, not some other one ;)
