Busted volume pot...

So, i guess i got a little excited and shot my volume all the way up to 10...and then it kept going...Anyhow, anyone know how much (just estimate) it might cost to get some wires re-soldered?

I have no idea :-( But, you could ask your local music store how much.

Well, I took it in...but now I have to wait until it gets done to know the bill...I wouldn't trust myself to do it..I'd end up burning my guitar up before i fixed anything...

I cannot tell you how many times this has happened to me... With all my guitars.
If you have a friend that knows something about guitars he should be able to solder the wires together. It's not a difficult fix as long as you know which wire goes where, which I do not, so I had a friend do it.
