alright guys im debating on buying a guitar but I honestly dont know which guitar to buy? I do want to learn celtic music and videogame music folk type music i guess you would say. I dont really have any intrest to play country, rock, jazz type music ATM. If i do purchase a Acustic/Electric nylon it will probably be this one http://www.lunaguitars.com/acousticprod ... enylon.php If i get a steel string it will must likely be an Ovation around 500 dollars is the max I want to spend so what do you guys think?

You're going to get a lot of differing opinions but when it comes down to it the only thing that really matters is which sound you like better. Personally I'm a diehard steel stringer, but a lot of members here swear by the nylon. There are some differences in how the guitar is shaped and how it should be played, but I think you should just pick whichever style of strings sounds best to you.

If you know how to fingerpick, then go with the nylon. Otherwise, go with steel. The strings on classical guitars are much farther apart than those of the steel string ones. Thats because they arent made to be played with a pick. :P

Patrie's are my favorite classicals; the finish on them is some special formula that makes the sound get better as it ages. It'll definitely be my main whenever I can afford one.

No problem for the advice. But classical guitars are nice, aren't they?
